You told me 10 years ago a talking to a video camera in my basement I know I personally shave my testicles this is what I was going to consider successful issuing base 10 years ago the only thing that was going to mean successfully I was working at Chino super successful business center said I am an entrepreneur one thing I've learned in years is that success doesn't always look like what you expect it will your plans have worked out for me so I start making them but I have learned some incredibly valuable I Oreo and business lessons along the way that I had shared 10 of his choosing business partners wisely background checks on anybody thinking about getting into business with John Sears is installing a well trust me when I say is to do your diligence sure that John is fixed or stand up to the start partner as you're getting married to wife cause agreements and contracts are just a contract they are a legally binding agreement so you can be in a world beyond the marriages is the razor did our business relationships skillful on businesslike expensive or high overhead true story center you know my monthly expenses were $40,000 is a lot of membership that is a lot of personal training supplements business owners and all true North Eagle last year. Everybody else before you before you see a guy $40,000 and go out the door I was the person who made the least amount of money my toilets work compared to May 3 be afraid of hard work is valid of course I stand and so you actually got it how difficult the work is going to be times and start daunting at times want to give up before you start your before you spend the money on stories only if it's going to be a bear Melton's speed is high and you climate this is applied is to provide it out the window because you need to do anything and everything to take in order to be successful true story centers for events with EMI expanded through fast there were a bunch of internal issues remember our centrist partners wisely and financially for us that I was having to take money off her credit cards want to pay my employees and so want to make ends meet I take a second job on weekends working as a beer cart girl on a golf course was on the golf course and there was a there's a moment when a lot of moment during the winter it was about where he does get cold especially at 630 in the morning on Sunday was sauce it was about 23° and no heat in the heart and so I'm sitting there waiting for golfers to come around is no shelter on this card should bring my butt off and it was critical moment in my life when I realized that my God I will do anything it takes in order to be successful is my empire that I plan on building and creating scrambling before my eyes and now I am sitting in a beer cart of 30.2-year-old dude so you won't golfers swallow your pride to do things that are enjoyed in times to get soft but I know when it's time to move on and this is a will it's a form there's a saying push the dog know when it's time to put down and a lot of times as an entrepreneur you start a business and you want to hold on as long as you can going on I don't want to time in every family businesses life when you got a note that okay to shoot it down on the problem for me specifically with that said I had planned be another option is something I am 130% of all in and so realization that okay is working or something else was really difficult for me and it will be for you if you face that similar situation but trust me when I say is the absolute best thing you can do because once you get that weight off your shoulders allows you and please remind to think of the next better opportunity bleeding may it's a lesson number six look for opportunity everywhere doesn't matter if you're not really everywhere blows my mind because I get approached by so many companies nowadays project know how many wallet companies are out there but they got the latest greatest okay you have a passion while it's okay then try make it work but there market is totally saturated so maybe it would be a wise decision if you're looking beyond the nor to look for opportunity that isn't currently being met for Phil without family consulting business article marketing like a is really no resources out there for everyday regular guys to get solid base device almost talking GQ I'm talking from a regular guy I know more about shoes and also was a perfect fit but on you just don't look for opportunity where all the people don't necessarily see it seven is higher smart surround yourself with good people talking is like good qualified on talk to people you want to be around to be associated with people good moral character encompasses case in point is my sister and Debbie she has been with me literally from dark's days back my fitness center and she still today the interesting thing about that is throughout the time no money has been tight so I could always afford to pay her what she is worth in the value that she brings in so being appreciative and treating people with dignity and respect and just tell them they really appreciate that you took a chance on me pays off financial future financial out I am telling you it is is one of the most valuable lessons that I personally have learned and I couldn't do any of this with hours watching letters are thank you bus number eight is be honest and ethical and everything to do with business integrity we talk about having character good solid moral compass well for me one of the lessons that I've learned through the years is that it pays the right thing lesson number nine I mentioned earlier the video is that success doesn't always look like what you expected to what you hope it will and this is this is sort of my life and I really truly feel like I finally found something that I'm passionate I'm good at and I love doing and so looking back you know I've gotten here without the other hardships and so a testament to my personal fulfillment and personal success today is that I the storm because entrepreneurs and work is definitely not easy about the easiest world will be on that is definitely for sure it would be much time ago I got to go to an office punch a clock work for so many, the day saw me on I'm passionate about our love and all the hard work through the many many many years is gone here and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world lesson number 10 which is due in July if you do what you love it's not work and the inspiration for this video actually was this to number 10 this morning I was at Starbucks and I was working my general schedule as I get up at Starbucks a workflow that and one of the guys the regulars can be just what you get here is 530 so what time you shut down at night is around 930 my God he does like it I don't I love it did not work I I I get up in the morning and I'm so excited to get started start writing*emailing start producing the content on producing that is more hours in the day I still is so it's really amazing and I just thought that you like I'd share a little bit of my journey and some lessons I learned because I know a lot of you out there like the idea of starting your own business of being an entrepreneur and it's not easy to develop a a thick skin and a cast-iron stomach because you will lose a lot of sleep over the years but if you are successful and the only way you're not successful is if you fail and you don't get back up you cannot they'll punch you get your ass up it's only a failure if you don't if you don't get up and you don't try again trust eventually you will figure it out and I just want to thank you for helping me figure it out because each one of you I just recently with.
